Lilavena Sanctuary is aligning with its Founding Board of Directors. 🌱

We are calling in a small group of individuals who understand that the most meaningful work is often quiet, structural, and long-term. People who feel responsibility not as a burden, but as a form of care.

Lilavena Sanctuary:
Foundation for Mothers & Earth is a mother-led, eco-beneficial nonprofit in formation based in Central Florida. Lilavena is designed as a living model for regenerative community care, integrating land stewardship, maternal support, and long-term governance to restore balance between ecological sustainability and human well-being.

Grounded in the belief that care is a strategic and structural function, Lilavena brings together nature-based enterprise, education, and community living into a coherent ecosystem. We prioritize continuity over speed, responsibility over optics, and stewardship over extraction.

This is not a symbolic board.

This is not an advisory circle.

Founding Board Members will help to:

• Establish bylaws and governance structures
• Provide fiduciary, financial, and ethical oversight
• Guide early-stage strategy with clarity and restraint
• Protect the mission as the organization grows
• Steward a model designed to endure across generations

This is infrastructure work. It requires patience, discernment, and integrity.

We welcome individuals with experience in one or more of the following:

• Nonprofit governance or board service
• Finance, accounting, or fiduciary oversight
• Legal, compliance, or policy work
• Land stewardship, permaculture, or regenerative agriculture

Just as important as what you know is how you move:

• You value coherence over charisma
• You think in long time horizons
• You are steady without urgency or dominance
• You are comfortable with responsibility without recognition

• A modest but meaningful time commitment (monthly meetings)
• Shared stewardship at the table while the foundation is built

• Not an operational or staff role
• Not a personal brand or visibility opportunity
• Not a space for saviorism, ideology, or control

• Eco-beneficial (the land must be healthier for our presence)
• Protective of women’s and children’s nervous systems
• Grounded, embodied, and practical
• Oriented toward continuity, not scale for its own sake

We are assembling the right table before we build the house.
