The Role

We need a Social Media Manager who doesn’t just post content; you create movements. You understand that every post is an opportunity to start a conversation, build community, and drive real traffic to our blog. You know what makes content stop the scroll, get shared, and convert followers into engaged readers.

This isn’t about vanity metrics. This is about strategic growth that aligns with our brand voice and drives measurable results.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute a social media strategy (primarily Instagram) that drives traffic to
• Create scroll-stopping, shareable, and conversion-focused content that resonates with millennia ls and Gen Z
• Transform blog posts into engaging social content that teases, intrigues, and compels clicks
• Stay on top of trending formats, sounds, and cultural moments relevant to our audience
• Maintain brand voice and aesthetic consistency across all platforms

Community Engagement & Growth

• Build authentic engagement through strategic commenting, DM conversations, and community interaction
• Identify and engage with target audience members to organically grow our following
• Collaborate with complementary accounts and creators for cross-promotion opportunities
• Monitor conversations in tech, dating, and lifestyle spaces to keep content relevant and timely

Analytics & Optimization

• Track and report on key performance indicators; follower growth, engagement rate, website traffic from social, content performance
• Test different content types, posting times, and strategies to optimize results
• Use insights to refine strategy and double down on what works
• Provide monthly reports with actionable recommendations

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Follower Growth:
  Grow Instagram to 10,000+ followers through organic, strategic methods
• Website Traffic:
  Drive consistent, measurable traffic from Instagram to  blog posts
• Engagement Rate:
  Maintain strong engagement through likes, comments, shares, and saves
• Content Performance:
  Create content that performs above platform benchmarks for reach and engagement

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field (UCF or Full Sail University preferred)
• Deep understanding of Instagram algorithm, features, and best practices
• Proven ability to grow social media accounts organically
• Portfolio or examples of social media accounts you’ve managed or grown
• Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to write in various tones and styles
• Strong visual eye for creating aesthetically cohesive feeds
• Experience with content creation tools (Canva, Cap Cut, Adobe Suite, or similar)
• Understanding of social media analytics and data-driven decision making
