We are seeking a Business Development & Communications Coordinator I to join our dynamic team in Orlando, Florida! This is an in-office position based in Orlando, FL.
As a member of CPH’s Strategy and Success department (Marketing & Communications group), the Business Development and Communications Coordinator I supports both internal and external communications functions as well as business development efforts. The Coordinator supports strategic content development, communications campaigns, business development initiatives, and event planning to effectively promote CPH’s capabilities, culture, and services to internal and external audiences. Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills are essential to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with corporate branding and business development goals.

- Collaborate with internal teams to support business development outreach, communications initiatives, and content creation for campaigns, presentations, and client-facing materials.
- Write, edit, and coordinate content for communications campaigns, social media, internal messaging, event materials, and client engagement efforts, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with CPH’s strategic goals.
- Conduct research on potential clients, projects, competitors, and market trends to support business development and pursuit strategies.
- Manage multiple efforts and marketing initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure all communications and business development materials align with CPH’s standards.
- Coordinate logistics and materials for client meetings and industry events.
- Track opportunities, maintain accurate pursuit data, and monitor the sales pipeline in Deltek VantagePoint (CRM).
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of marketing collateral (e.g., project profiles, staff resumes, brochures).
- Develop, write, and edit content for the company website, social media channels, blogs, press releases, internal announcements, and other strategic communications.
- Manage company accounts across social media platforms.
- Maintain an editorial content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and business development initiatives.
- Monitor website and social media performance using analytics tools, and report on key metrics while providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Source story ideas, interview staff, and develop written content that highlights CPH.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visual and digital materials that support marketing and communication goals; create and edit basic graphics or layouts as needed (with guidance).
- Assist in planning and coordinating company participation in industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, business development, or a similar role (experience in the architecture/engineering/construction industry is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Adobe In Design and Acrobat) preferred.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience managing digital content and social media platforms, including use of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to measure engagement and effectiveness.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to exercise critical thinking, sound judgment, and work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, client-focused deliverables.
