Interpreting manufacturing process plans, engineering drawings, and MIL specifications to perform coating, polishing, grinding and diamond-turning of lenses, prisms, mirrors, shop aids and test plates;
Operating and maintaining coating equipment for single- and multi-layer thin-film applications, ensuring repeatable thickness and optical performance;
Performing visual inspections, metrology checks, and documentation of all process parameters and results in electronic tracking systems;
Troubleshooting coating defects, adjusting process variables, and implementing corrective actions to sustain quality and yield;
Collaborating with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to drive continuous-improvement initiatives
