Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Paint Prepper to join our team in Orlando, FL! The role involves preparing, sanding, and buffering materials such as plastic, wood, aluminum, and steel prior to painting. The ideal candidate will have experience running a DA and feel comfortable using spray guns, mixing paints, and working on non-flat surfaces like cabinets and frames.
Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, filling, and priming before painting.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment, including a gravity feed gun.
- Mix and match colors accurately to achieve desired results.
- Ensure smooth, even coats and clean lines while spotting and correcting imperfections.
- MUST have experience with paint preparation, autobody fillers, and sanding using a D/A machine.
- Proficiency in using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Ability to mix components and match colors accurately.
- Understanding of different types of paints, coatings, and finishes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work on ladders or scaffolding.
- Stamina for standing and repetitive motions.

Work EnvironmentThis is a non-climate-controlled environment with extended shifts from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM, and occasional weekends. You will be working in two large spray booths and must be prepared for physical activity, including standing for long periods and working on ladders or scaffolding.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
