You will be a Hand Tool Calibration Operator for the Metrology department.
What You Will Be Doing- Calibrating tooling completely for dimensional conformity, workmanship, adherence to design requirements and specifications.
- Performing periodic checks and/or calibrations, involving trigonometric calculations on various types of precision measuring instruments, and accepting or rejecting items to specifications and engineering drawings.
- Planning and conducting calibrations including necessary calibration layout and setup of part and tool according to tool design, engineering, and manufacturing requirements.
- Setting up tools, surface plate or table, angle plate, sine plate, rotary or tilting table or other state‑of‑the‑art equipment suitable for taking precision measurements.
- Checking dimensions such as hole patterns, trim lines, parallelism and other specifications.

LocationThis position is in Orlando.
Basic Qualifications- Calibration or Metrology experience.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Experience calibrating hand tools such as torque wrenches, solder stations, dial indicators, pin gauges, retention tools, thread gauges, calipers, thickness gauges, micrometers, and countersink gauges.
Secret; this position requires a government security clearance and requires the candidate to be a US Citizen.
Work Schedule- 4x10-hour day, 3 days off per week.
