Starting Pay: $ per hour, based on experience
Positions available on either 2nd or 3rd shift:
2nd shift hours: M-F 3p-11:30p
3rd shift hours:
Sun-Th 11p-7a
The Toro Company is now seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician.
Responsibilities include all aspects of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and adherence to established protocols. One of the prime responsibilities is to keep lines running efficiently, within safety, production and quality goals. We are looking for a skilled and experienced industrial maintenance technician with experience repairing and maintaining extrusion and packaging equipment.
What will you to:
Observe electrical/mechanical devices in operation, monitors and repairs when required.
Perform analysis of devices/equipment and identifies root cause for malfunctions.
Repair and replace defective parts. Perform preventive maintenance on specified mechanical devices/equipment when required.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Responsible for performing preventive maintenance (PMs); perform routine checks and inspections to equipment keeping accurate records.
Inspect Equipment, record transaction and information. Responsible for maintaining tools and equipment in good standing, storage and records.
Responsible for Updating Technician and Engineers on status of machines, tools and equipment; including new equipment and tools.
Assist in keeping inventory and history records updated.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours which may include nights and weekends .
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Comply with TORO and OSHA Safety and Health rules.
Research, identify, and keep records of individual processes for all repairs through documentation and pictures.
Perform other duties as assigned or are not included here but are within the context of duties defined.
What Will You Need?
High school diploma/GED required
Minimum 2-4 years related experience in maintenance required.
Technical Vocational School desired
Proficient in English language desired
Preferred skills include industrial maintenance experience, as well as experience with plastic processing equipment
Must be able to communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors in coordination with production.
Knowledge of basic PC function
ions including Microsoft office and Windows.
High level of organizational skills. Logs, checklists and inspections records must be maintained orderly and legible.
High sense of urgency. Escalate potential Safety, Process and/or Quality issues.
Promotes a positive attitude towards Safety.
Capacity to work independently as well as within a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
