Position Title:

Production Associate/Entry Utility

Pay Rate :

$23.72 per hour + shift differential if applicable

NOTE :
During 90 day probationary, role is considered a Learner and earns $20.87 per hour + shift differential if applicable.

Category/Shift :

The plant operates 24/5 with 8-12 hour shifts. Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed; overtime may be needed during busy periods.

The Job You Will Perform:
  • Safely run machines and follow all safety rules and practices at all times;
  • Count and stack finished product;
  • Learn customer requirements and specifications by reading factory work orders, print cards, and design specifications;
  • Utilize basic shop math;
  • Accurately read tape measures, gauges and other test equipment;
  • Coordinate activities with other machine crew members to efficiently set up and run orders;
  • Maintain quality and production standards as required by the company;
  • Continually monitor the quality and quantity of production;
  • Maintain housekeeping continually during the assigned shift;
  • Perform quality inspections and tests, and record findings; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
The Skills You Will Bring:
  • 3-6 months hands on Industrial Plant manufacturing experience
  • Corrugated industry experience preferred
  • Sit down Forklift/pull pack experience preferred
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • The ability to accurately read a tape measurer and ruler
  • The ability to use basic shop math
  • The ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
