Description
Job DescriptionApplies Gelcoat to the hull, deck molds, and small parts according to production orders.
Duties and Responsibilities- Be able to spray Gelcoat, check for the proper millage, read orders, and apply the corresponding color requested.
- Be able to apply hull and deck identifying numbers in the proper place.
- Stock Gelcoat.
- Clean Filters and pumps at required intervals.
- You will be taping, wrapping, and prepping molds to be gel coated.
- Keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Follow instructions of the Supervisor/foreman/lead.
- Work with a team to complete daily tasks.
- Must be able to wear a full mask respirator.
- Be able to identify the different hulls and decks that need to be gel-coated.
- Be able to use small hand tools, including scissors, razors, knives, etc.
- Inspects all parts to be complete and up to quality standards.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.

- Personal Protective Equipment
- Safety Glasses, full-mask respirator, Tyvek protection suit. - Hand Tools- gelcoat gun, razor knife, and scissors.
- Working directly with gelcoat, fiberglass, and resin.
- Be able to drive a forklift.
- Be able to use and maintain a variety of hand tools.
- Knowledge of production processes and quality control.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature.
- Must be able to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods.
