Join TW Metals and play a critical role in our manufacturing operations, overseeing the safe and efficient handling of metal materials.
Responsibilities- Operate saws to cut metal and other approved machinery such as chop saw, band saw, plate saw, and shear M/C.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety procedures and report any hazards.
- Use forklift or side loader to move materials as needed.
- Assist with deburring, packing, exporting, receiving, and shipping tasks.
- Operate specialized equipment including waterjet, laser M/C, and PVC M/C when required.
- Work independently and collaborate with teammates to meet production targets.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience operating metal-cutting saws and forklift or side loader.
- Willingness to learn; training will be provided.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Capable of standing, sitting, stooping, and kneeling throughout the shift.
Position requires standing, sitting, stooping, and kneeling. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, with assistance. Specific vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception with or without corrected vision.
