Insulator (Orlando, FL) – Austin Industrial

Full‑time maintenance job, 40 hours a week (4/10 schedule). No per diem and no relocation funding.

• Must be an experienced Industrial Insulator with 3 or more years of experience.
• Install temp mats and pads, pipe covering, and fittings (Calcium Silicate).
• Form sheet metal materials around pipes, ductwork and industrial equipment.
• Install insulation and fittings such as perlite and calcium silicate.
• Install sheet metal around insulated pipes with screws/bands to protect insulation.
• Create flat sheet metal layouts for transitions, offsets, flashing, tapered elbows, transitional elbows, Y‑branches and compound fittings.
• Brush adhesives and mastic onto insulation material.
• Measure and cut metal material to specified size and shape for covering flat or round surfaces.
• Use hand tools and equipment to form, crimp, or roll metal in place.
• Work while wearing personal protective equipment (rain gear, chemical protective clothing, respirators, harness, coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs, safety glasses).
• Maintain full range of mobility in upper and lower body; be able to reach, bend, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Other duties as assigned.

• No minimum education requirements.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Industrial Insulator.
• Must pass background check and pre‑employment physical, including drug, hearing, vision, pulmonary function, and range of motion testing.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to drive on site.
