Instrument & Electrical Technician (Open) — Orlando, FL (AMG) - ASU
Airgas is Hiring for an Instrument & Electrical Technician - Orlando, Florida. We are looking for you and value diversity in a dynamic and inclusive culture.
Salary
: $30-35/hr & Up DOE
Hours
:
Mon-Fri 7am-3pm (On-Call Rotating)
Benefits
: 4% Annual Bonus
- Troubleshoot and repair instruments up to 480 volts
- Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation systems, and calibrations in accordance with manufacturers instructions, local work instructions and governing regulations
- Install, maintain, adjust and repair manual, pneumatic, electric and electronic measuring, recording, and regulating instrumentation
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform preventative inspections on mechanical equipment and systems per manufacturer instructions, local work instructions and governing regulations
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems per manufacturer instructions, local work instructions and governing regulations
- Maintain quality control and quality assurance equipment, including process analyzers and gas chromatographs
- Maintain calibration standards, including inspection, testing and measuring equipment as well as calibration gas cylinders
- Perform routine and non-routine analytical calibrations and adjustments
- Maintain, troubleshoot and perform maintenance on compressors, pumps, turbines, valves, motors, and other plant equipment
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrate commitment to safety
Required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 5+ years experience maintaining instrumentation and electrical systems in technical processes in an industrial environment
Preferred
- Minimum two years of college, technical school, or military technical experience preferred
