Pay Range: $75k+ (Compensation is based on a combination of your skills, background, and the needs of the role)

Summary

Regal Boats is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team as an Assembly Team Leader. The Assembly Team Leader will oversee lamination processes and manage manpower to achieve maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure assembly manufacturing operations are in accordance with Regal's Quality Standards
  • Coach and oversee Lead(s) and hourly Team Members (35–40 team members)
  • Train and motivate Team Members to achieve high productivity and quality
  • Communicate daily schedule with production team members
  • Track team member time and attendance according to Regal's Attendance & PTO Policy
  • Troubleshoot issues on the production line related to the boat manufacturing process
  • Work with other departments to ensure parts are completed according to schedule
  • Produce a manufacturing defect list, write Corrective Action Requests, answer technical questions, and order appropriate materials
  • Manage according to the organization’s policies and applicable state and federal laws
  • Interview, plan, assign and direct work, appraise performance, reward and counsel team members, address complaints, and resolve problems
  • Ensure manufacturing operations comply with Regal's Safety Standards and promote safe practices
Required Qualifications
  • Ability to confirm time cards and effectively utilize the timekeeping system
  • Ability to manage labor hours to meet production rates
  • Ability to conduct employee conversations to communicate expectations, performance, and disciplinary actions
  • Ability to lead daily meetings with large teams to detail progress, current state, and future strategy
  • Adherence to all safety standards and procedures
  • Understanding and adherence to all quality standards
  • Ability to work well with diverse teams
  • Ability to coordinate production responsibilities to maximize productivity and deliver on time
  • Dependable demeanor; reliable and punctual
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs & Sheets, and Outlook/Gmail
  • Adherence to Regal’s Mission, Value, and Purpose

  • Willingness to learn and understand manufacturing processes
  • Two- or four-year college degree
  • Bilingual
Work Environment

Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient temperatures can exceed outdoor temperatures, sometimes reaching over 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee may regularly bend, stand for extended periods, climb into and out of boats, and lift up to 50 pounds. Ten-hour days and overtime may be required.
