As an Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) – Private Wealth Services, youhave the unique opportunity tocenter your workaround development and growth – foryour clients, your team, and collaboration with, and under the guidance of two Branch Managers in Private Wealth Services, you will develop andimplementa comprehensive local business plan focused on assisting the mission to reach, retain and grow in our ultra-high-net worth segment ($10M+).As
a branch leader, you will coacha driven team of branch professionals, attending to performance management and employee engagement.
As an ABM,you are ona directpath to become a Branch Manager in the local Branch Network, on a Centralized team or Private Wealth Services, a critical leader role within our Investor Services organization, whichisresponsible for helping individuals and families with their financial goals, including retirement planning, charitable giving, estate planning, active investing or managing banking and lending needs. Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience
- A valid and active Series 7 license required
- A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license required
- A valid and active Series 9/10 (8) license required (may be obtained within a 90‑day condition of employment)
- A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license (may be obtained within a 120‑day condition of employment)
- Since this is a development role, those that are hired into his position need to be flexible to relocate across the network when a manager role becomes available.
- A minimum of 5 years in the financial services industry with leadership experience preferred
- Ability to provide ongoing employee coaching, development, and recognition
- Demonstrated business development experience with a strong drive for results
- Passion to focus on retention and development of top talent through coaching, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Openness to build and deepen relationships with clients, within the community and across Schwab to achieve desired results
- CFP®, CPWA®, and/or CWS® designation is preferred
- Strong brokerage and industry knowledge
