Mgr, Contracts Management

You will be the Contracts Management Manager for the Contracts Management team. Our team is responsible for delivering contract excellence that powers advanced munitions development, production, and sustainment.

As the Contracts Management Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all contract activities that enable the MDMS Program to meet its mission objectives.

• Develop, negotiate, and execute contracts that support advanced munitions development and production.
• Manage contract modifications, amendments, and extensions to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing issues proactively.
• Coordinate with engineering, finance, and program leadership to align contract terms with program goals.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior contract specialists.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the selected candidate must possess ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

• Experience negotiating and managing complex development and production contracts
• Proven ability to develop trusted partnerships with internal and external customers
• Cost type, fixed price, and incentive fee contracting type knowledge
• Ability to engage in routine and unique problems/issues to help develop solutions for multi‑million‑dollar complex contracts
• Ability to coordinate DCAA and DCMA activities including audits, financing payments, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

• Experience handling multiple, widely‑varied assignments
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Experience problem solving, including identifying issues and developing solutions

Part‑time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
