Job Description:

The Distribution Center Team Lead is responsible for overseeing warehouse duties within the Race Trac Distribution Center. This individual assists the management team in managing warehouse functions such as receiving products, auditing store orders, code dating products, and maintaining the facility. They oversee a team of associates responsible for warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and support to distribution initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members, aligning their work with warehouse goals.
• Evaluate employee productivity and communicate with management about performance and improvements.
• Perform warehouse support functions, including vendor receiving, order auditing, product coding, cycle counts, and scheduling deliveries.
• Ensure product integrity by monitoring temperatures and following proper procedures.
• Document and communicate vendor issues to management.
• Manage conflicts among associates and escalate issues as needed.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, operate equipment, and work in a fast-paced environment with physical activity.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
