Morrison Healthcare, a division of Compass Group, is a leading national food and nutrition services company dedicated to serving over 600 hospitals and healthcare systems. We seek a Café Retail Manager to oversee daily operations of a retail café in an acute care setting in Orlando, FL. The role requires a dynamic, entrepreneurial manager who seeks continuous improvement in operations, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.

• Oversee daily administrative and operational tasks.
• Handle all aspects of staff management.
• Manage all financials, including budget development, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Maintain knowledge of marketplace trends.
• Control costs and manage expenditures for the account.
• Ensure sanitation and safety of assigned unit(s).
• Purchase and manage inventory.
• Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary teams.
• Act as the direct liaison with the client.

• Culinary degree preferred, or A.A. Degree plus related experience.
• Three or more years of supervisory experience in food service operations.
• Experience in healthcare, senior living, retirement, or related environment desirable.
• Knowledge of retail, food, and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Strong leadership, management, and coaching skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, e‑mail, Internet, and related programs.
