What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates in the Defense vertical, ensuring effective collaboration with regional and national teams
  • Develop and implement short and long-term sales strategies to drive market share growth
  • Serve as the escalation point for sales-related issues and provide coaching and training to enhance team performance
  • Maintain C-level relationships with key accounts and perform annual performance evaluations for team members
  • Facilitate regional meetings and participate in trade organization leadership activities
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • BS in Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in vertical sales, preferably within the Power Transmission industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong analytical skills to identify trends
  • Ability to travel up to 40% as required
  • Demonstrated capability in building and leading high-performing sales teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in factory automation or related end markets such as aerospace, medical, or alternative energy
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and utilizing KPIs for coaching
