Beach Lifeguard Manager II

** To be considered for this role, you
** must
** have the following:
*** A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field,
*** and
* ** 4 years of job-related experience in Open Water Beach Lifeguarding, Aquatic Programming, or Open Water Beach Lifeguarding Management.* **-OR
- ** An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field,
*** and
* ** 6 years of job-related experience in Open Water Beach Lifeguarding, Aquatic Programming, or Open Water Beach Lifeguarding Management.* **-OR
- ** Year-for-year experience may substitute for the college degree (8 years of related experience minimum).
* 2 (
* or more*) years of supervisory experience.
* Valid Florida driver's license by date of hire.
** The*

* ** candidate has the following knowledge, skills, and/or abilities:
*** FL-certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). (
* Must obtain within 18 months of employment*; we can help with this!)
* NIMS/ICS certifications 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, 800. (
* Must obtain within 12 months from the date of hire;
* we can help with this!)
* Apply technical knowledge, exercise sound judgment, and make effective decisions in emergency and time-sensitive situations.
* Lead, manage, and motivate staff through planning, scheduling, training, and performance oversight.
* Analyze data, solve problems, and prepare clear, comprehensive reports.
* Communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.
* Perform physically demanding work under challenging conditions while utilizing essential software and tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, RMS, LMS).
