Contract Management Manager – Special Programs

You will be the Contract Management Manager for the Special Programs team. Our team delivers high‑impact contracts that enable revolutionary defense systems and safeguard lives worldwide.

• Direct subordinate staff in recruitment, training, performance assessment, and career development.
• Manage end‑to‑end contract activities, from capture and negotiations to post‑award administration and compliance.
• Coordinate with program management, finance, legal, sub‑contracts, engineering, HR, and compliance to resolve contractual issues and align with business goals.
• Represent Lockheed Martin with customers and buying representatives, building strong relationships and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
• Lead internal and external audits, maintain accurate contract data, and generate reports for corporate and business‑area leadership.

• Actively hold a Final Secret clearance with a background investigation performed within the last five years.
• Ability to obtain a Top‑Secret clearance upon employment.
• Experience working on classified programs.
• Experience in the contract life cycle, including generating and submitting proposals, negotiating with customers or suppliers, contract administration, and closeout.
• Familiarity with FAR and DFARS.
• Experience with multiple contract types and proposals (FFP, FPIF, CPIF, CPAF, CPFF, T&M).
• Ability to identify contractual risks and assess financial implications.
• Strong multi‑tasking and assignment management skills.

• Active TS clearance.
• Leadership experience.
• Proficiency with FAR, DFARS, R&D programs, CRADAs, OTAs, and other non‑traditional contract types.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience providing strategic business advice to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated collaborative and strategic work with functional and program counterparts.
• Experience in classified program environments.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
