Your Purpose:
As a Procurement Manager, you will manage procurement activities for food and beverage and retail operations at all Florida Stations and on-board trains and oversee the entire commissary team. Reporting directly to the Orlando Station General Manager and with dotted lines to the Vice President of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement and Assistant Vice President of Ancillary Revenue, this role plays a pivotal part in driving inventory efficiency, cost savings, and operational excellence.
In this role, you will oversee 8 leaders who are based across various stations on our corridor.

Your Role [Essential Functions]:
Procurement & Sourcing
- Lead procurement planning, sourcing, and purchasing of food, beverage, merchandise, and consumables for stations and train service.
- Manage supplier relationships, pricing negotiations, contracts, and quality control reviews.
- Ensure alignment with Brightline’s guest experience and sustainability goals in all purchasing decisions.
- Conduct regular pricing audits and vendor performance reviews in coordination with strategic sourcing.
Inventory & Logistics Management
- Coordinate requisitions and restocking efforts across onboard and stations operations based on ridership and forecast data.
- Implement and maintain inventory tracking systems to ensure real-time visibility and minimize shrinkage.
- Help establishing pars, monitor usage patterns, and adjust procurement strategy to avoid overstock and shortages.
- Oversee daily receipt of goods, ensuring product integrity, invoice matching, and timely storage.
Operations & Team Oversight
- Direct the commissary team and ensure compliance with food safety, inventory security, and documentation standards.
- Develop dashboards and KPI tracking reports related to inventory, cost of goods, and shrinkage.
- Monitor and review all Brightline communication channels, including our company intranet, bConnected, during work hours to ensure all company and department communications and notifications are promptly reviewed.

Managerial Responsibility:
- Direct supervisory responsibility including the to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward or discipline or effectively recommend such actions.
Experience & Qualifications
Required
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years of proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing in hospitality, retail, or transportation.
- Demonstrated success in improving forecast accuracy and delivering on operational or financial KPIs.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills, with familiarity in POS and procurement software (e.g. Market Man, Birchstreet).
- Experience managing vendor contracts and cost negotiation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interpret ridership and forecast data to inform purchasing and restocking decisions.
- Ability to ensure compliance with food safety, inventory security, and documentation standards.
- Working knowledge of financial principles related to cost of goods sold (COGS), budgeting, and pricing strategies.
