Landscaping Civil Project Manager

Please Note - this position is in Anchorage Alaska onsite - it is not a remote position. Relocation to Anchorage Alaska is required.

A local Alaskan developer and contractor in Anchorage is hiring for a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager/ Superintendent to join our team with a preference in Civil or Landscaping.

This person will oversee the various commercial and residential construction projects and residential multi‑unit properties. The ideal candidate will provide overall project management and direction to workers and contractors.

This position will have a diverse scope and require initiative, critical thinking, and proactive communication skills.

• Degree in Construction Management/Engineering and field management experience
• Extensive field management experience

• Manage and oversee all phases of projects
• Manage subcontractors (scope, work, contract)
• Understand, analyze, and manage cost, schedule, quality, and safety
• Close monitoring of critical milestones and deliverables
• Communicate with leadership and adjust priorities and focus as needed
• Work closely with all teams to ensure high quality and safety are maintained
• Provide engineering and technical guidance and oversight to project staff
• Work closely with site superintendents and foreman to oversee construction
• Ensure compliance with all quality, regulatory, and security processes

• Ability to work independently and in teams under low supervision
