Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of duties in and around the facility buildings, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining equipment and machinery. The role supports the Director of Plant Operations and works at Central Florida Behavioral Hospital in Orlando, FL.

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks in accordance with departmental procedures.
• Complete weekly inventory of maintenance items for all trades.
• Check lighting in and around the buildings, making repairs as necessary.
• Maintain 100% adherence to department inspection schedules and procedures.
• Complete work orders.
• Be available for on‑call rotating weekends.

• Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Investigation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade or vocational school preferred.
• Knowledge of facility maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, commercial door hardware, and landscape maintenance.
