Base pay range$15.00/hr - $16.00/hr
Responsibilities- Maintain the cleanliness of the facility.
- Cleaning of all common areas, bathrooms, and all other assigned areas of the facility.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting, cleaning restrooms including toilets, scrubbing, cleaning windows.
- Trash removal.
- Ensure all client and common areas are well maintained, clean, and inviting for visitors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned by senior management.
- 1+ year office, commercial or residential cleaning, high traffic facility.
- Demonstrate and promote a great customer service attitude with pride in your work.
- Fast worker showing initiative and follow through.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures and handling of cleaning supplies.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, walk, and other movements needed for cleaning for up to 8 hours a day.
- Able to properly clean upholstery, all types of floors, walls, ceilings, windows, vents, doors, lights, trash cans, blinds, equipment, furniture, and various types of surfaces.
- Need to be able to start work immediately.
- Must be diligent and thorough:
There is a list of items that must be done every day. These items must be done efficiently but also with high quality. - Must be willing to take initiative:
While performing daily duties, be aware of the facility, inside and out, and easily see things that need to be cleaned even if they are not on the daily list. - Must have a strong desire to stay busy and complete tasks with limited supervision.
- Must be flexible and use good judgment:
Sometimes, the client’s events or accidents are inconvenient, but meeting their needs must remain the priority. Must be willing to change the daily routine at times to help the clients. - Must always consider the client’s point of view:
What do they notice? What do they care about? How can we help them? - Must have a pleasant and positive attitude:
There will be daily interactions with the clients. It is important to be respectful of their time and minimize interruptions of their work, so interactions should be limited, but always positive. - Must be able to manage supply and materials inventory.
- Must be willing to wear scrubs and other clean room attire, as necessary.
- Must be willing to truly own the responsibility of keeping the facility clean.
- Must be well groomed and display a professional image at all times through appearance, hygiene, and attitude as appropriate for a medical office.
- Spanish/English bilingual preferred, but not required.
References will be checked and verified.
Qualifications- Must have previous janitorial experience.
- Must have a clean background check.
- Must have a keen eye for details.
- Must have a friendly personality and be willing to accommodate others.
- Must be very organized and able to follow a routine.
- Must have reliable transportation.
