Cleaning Supervisor

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include supervising and coordinating a team of professional cleaning personnel while executing defined tasks at an assigned location. Also includes coordination, order and issuance of supplies and equipment, training of new hires and re‑training of existing personnel, and inspection of completed tasks for conformance to Stellar standards and customer requirements. May be required to perform tasks assigned to crew personnel, as needed.

May be required to be "on-call" on a rotating basis to cover unforeseen emergencies.

• Empty waste receptacles and replace soiled/damaged liners
• Vacuum carpeted areas and remove spots
• Dust horizontal and vertical surfaces
• Perform restroom maintenance/cleaning
• Sweep and damp mopping hard surface floors
• Conduct all work in accordance with company safety and personnel policies, requirements, and regulations
• Operate and maintain equipment such as vacuum cleaners
• Effectively work independently and with other team members while adhering to supervisory directions

• Minimum of two years commercial cleaning experience
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a valid work permit or be a U.S. citizen
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Ability to effectively supervise crew members and follow management direction
• Have physical ability to perform all aspects of job duties
• Previous training in commercial cleaning industry or building management
• Supervisory experience preferred, but not required
• Must have reliable transportation
