Overview
Burr & Forman LLP has an immediate opening in its Orlando, Tampa, or Fort Lauderdale, FL office for a litigation associate in its Financial Services Litigation Practice Group. This position requires a J.D. degree and membership in the Florida Bar. This candidate should have three or more years of litigation experience, and a federal clerkship is preferred. Burr will consider various types of litigation experience.
The selected candidate will benefit from hands-on mentoring, client contact and long-term advancement opportunity.
The role is to contribute as a litigation associate within Burr & Forman’s Financial Services Litigation Practice Group, with emphasis on quality client service, strong research and writing, and effective organizational and analytical skills. The candidate should be prepared to engage in active litigation and client work as part of a collaborative team.
Qualifications- J.D. degree and membership in the Florida Bar.
- Three or more years of litigation experience; federal clerkship preferred.
- Qualified to practice law in Tennessee; qualifications to practice in other states are preferred but not required.
- Ability to be self-starting with excellent client service, research, writing, organizational and analytical skills.
