Overview
Burr & Forman has an immediate opening for a staff attorney within the lending practice group. The attorney may be located in Orlando or Tampa, FL;
Greenville or Columbia, SC;
Birmingham or Mobile, AL;
Nashville, TN; or Atlanta, GA. This position requires a J.D. degree and membership in the applicable State Bar. Demonstrative work experience in commercial lending transactions (real estate and/or C&I lending) or other commercial transactions (e.g. mergers and acquisitions, general corporate, tax) is preferred, but not required. Quality candidates will be self-starters with strong research, writing, organizational, and analytical skills. The ability to work with others on teams is an absolute requirement.
The selected candidate will benefit from hands-on mentoring and on-the-job training.
- Contribute to lending practice work, including commercial lending transactions (real estate and/or C&I) and related commercial matters.
- Collaborate with team members on research, writing, and transactional work.
- Present ability to work effectively in a team environment and participate in mentoring processes.
- J.D. degree and membership in the applicable State Bar.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial lending transactions or other commercial transactions is preferred but not required.

The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation.
