Case Manager – Legal Assistant Team Lead Responsibilities
- Case Oversight & Litigation Support: Managing and tracking case files, deadlines, and workflows to ensure timely filings, discovery, and case progression.
- Legal Document Preparation: Assisting attorneys by drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and trial documents.
- Team Leadership & Supervision: Leading a team of legal assistants, providing guidance, training, and ensuring quality control over legal support services.
- Client & Attorney Coordination: Acting as a liaison between attorneys, clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel to facilitate smooth case handling.
- Discovery & Case Management: Organizing and maintaining case files, handling document production, and assisting in deposition preparation.
- Compliance & Risk Assessment: Ensuring all case-related procedures follow state and federal regulations, while identifying potential case risks.
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years working as a Case Manager, Senior Legal Assistant, or Litigation Paralegal in Insurance Defense or 5+ Years working Construction Litigation (preferred).

Prior experience leading a team, managing workflows, and providing mentorship to legal assistants. - Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of case management, litigation procedures, court rules, and document preparation.
- Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience in a legal setting.
