Litigation Legal Assistant

LHH is seeking a skilled Litigation Legal Assistant to join a dynamic Orlando law firm. This fully onsite role is ideal for candidates with experience in insurance defense, especially medical malpractice, who thrive in fast-paced litigation environments. The successful candidate will provide essential support to attorneys, ensuring cases move efficiently through all stages of litigation while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and professionalism.

• Draft, proofread, and format pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence.
• File documents with federal and state courts using electronic filing systems.
• Track court deadlines and manage attorney calendars.
• Organize and maintain case files and exhibits.
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparations.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

• 2+ years litigation/legal assistant experience
  , ideally in insurance defense (medical malpractice defense experience is a plus).
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures, court rules, and filing requirements.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills and solid organization & multitasking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
