Job Title: Workers Compensation Attorney
Salary/Payrate: $110K-$135K + bonus and AWESOME benefits!!!
Work Environment: Onsite/Hybrid after 90 days
Referral Fee:
AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets hired
- Represent clients in workers’ compensation defense matters from inception through resolution
- Develop litigation strategy in collaboration with partners and clients
- Conduct legal research and stay current on developments in Florida workers’ compensation law
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Conduct and participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials as needed
- Provide clear legal analysis and strategic guidance to clients
- Collaborate effectively with partners, clients, and firm support staff
- Maintain strong client relationships through responsive, ethical, and results-driven advocacy
- 5+ years of workers’ compensation defense experience (required)
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Excellent legal research and writing abilities (Lexis Nexis experience preferred)
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to ethical practice
Physical Requirements
- Initial onboarding/training and first 90 days required onsite
- Hybrid schedule may be discussed after successful completion of onboarding
