Personal Injury litigation attorney - Full-time

Location:Orlando, FL

Required Qualifications:

• Full-time Member of the Florida Bar and in good standing

• 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience

• Trial experience;
  First Chairs during the trial

• General litigation experience

• Motion practice

• Fact and expert witness deposition experience

• General discovery practice

• Strong communication and people skills

• Bilingual skills are a plus

• Professionalism and prioritization of client customer service and representation

• Experience with Smart Advocate (case management software)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to communicate with clients and co-workers effectively and efficiently

• Excellent organization skills and ability to multitask and prioritize workload

• Team-oriented

Job Description

• Handling auto accidents, premise liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death cases, nursing home abuse, and home and business property damage cases

• Representing the firm’s clients after pre-suit and through the conclusion of the case, whether via settlement or trial

• Preparing for and trying numerous jury trials throughout Florida each year

• Working directly with at least one paralegal and a team of legal assistants to assist with ongoing cases and in preparation for trial

• Improving trial skills through seminars and workshops

• Managing a caseload of approximately 35-40 files
