Overview- Jurisdictions: FL, GA, NC
- Licenses: Florida adjuster licenses
- Remote role: Fully remote
- Apply claims‑management experience to analyze claims exposure, plan the proper course of action, and appropriately resolve claims.
- Interact extensively with various parties to ensure effective communication and resolution.
- Provide exceptional customer service to claimants, exhibiting empathy throughout the claims process.
- Handle claims consistently with client and corporate policies, procedures, and standard methodologies while meeting statutory, regulatory, and ethical requirements.
- Document and communicate claim activity timely to support the outcome of the claim file.
- Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex workers‑compensation claims using analytical skills to reach informed decisions and bring claims to resolution.
- Partner with clients to deliver innovative solutions and enhance the claims‑management process.
- Think critically, solve problems, plan, and prioritize tasks to best serve clients and claimants.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience adjusting a workers‑compensation desk, including lost time/indemnity and litigation.
- Knowledge of FL, GA, NC jurisdictions.
- Active adjuster’s license for the states handled.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum 3 years of related claims experience.
- Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are handled.
- Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
- Computer experience with related claims and business software.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
