Base pay range$75,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Responsibilities- Investigate and process workers' compensation and liability claims.
- Determine eligibility for benefits and compensability.
- Coordinate medical treatment and return-to-work plans.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of claims.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide guidance and support to employees, supervisors, field management, and other stakeholders regarding workers' compensation and liability matters.
- Communicate with insurance carriers, medical providers, and legal counsel.
- Facilitate communication between parties to resolve claims and disputes.
- Develop and recommend policies and procedures related to workers' compensation and liability.
- Participate in the development of return-to-work programs.
- Conduct training and workshops on workers' compensation and liability issues.
- Identify and assess potential risks related to workplace injuries and accidents.
- Recommend and implement strategies to mitigate risks and prevent future claims.
- Analyze claim data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex information.
- Proficiency in data management and record keeping.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience in risk management and claims processing.
