Your Role
You will serve as the primary Business Analyst across Service Now ITAM initiatives, supporting both SAM and CMDB programs. From facilitating stakeholder workshops to producing structured documentation and supporting delivery teams, you will operate across the full requirements lifecycle. This role blends analytical expertise with stakeholder leadership, ensuring successful implementation aligned to ITIL best practices and enterprise governance standards.
What You’ll Do- Act as the lead Business Analyst for Service Now ITAM initiatives spanning SAM and CMDB
- Facilitate workshops with ITAM stakeholders, CMDB owners, and platform teams to gather and validate requirements
- Assess current-state processes and define future-state workflows and governance models
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and compliance requirements
- Translate requirements into BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and detailed acceptance criteria
- Create process flows and documentation aligned to ITIL best practices
- Partner closely with Service Now configuration and development teams to ensure accurate implementation
- Participate in Sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives within Agile environments
- Support testing cycles including UAT coordination, validation, and stakeholder sign-off
- Drive alignment across ITAM, ITSM, and CMDB initiatives to ensure cohesive platform delivery
- 10+ years of IT or Service Now experience with a strong focus on ITAM and CMDB initiatives
- Hands‑on functional expertise in Service Now SAM and CMDB modules
- Strong understanding of ITAM, ITSM, ITIL processes, and software licensing concepts
- Proven experience producing structured BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process documentation
- Experience facilitating workshops and managing cross‑functional stakeholder groups
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex requirements into structured deliverables
- Comfortable working in Agile delivery environments
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience operating within enterprise‑scale Service Now programs
- Play a key role in shaping enterprise ITAM and CMDB maturity initiatives
- Work alongside technical architects and platform owners on high‑visibility programs
- Drive measurable improvements in process clarity, governance, and software lifecycle management
- Influence Service Now roadmap decisions and future‑state platform design
