RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Systems Analyst IV in Orlando, FL.

Opportunity:

* Higher Education Internal IT seeks a Business Systems Analyst IV

* Senior-level role partnering with Information Technology and academic/central support units

* Focus on aligning technology initiatives with institutional goals

* Acts as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders

* Supports initiatives that improve faculty, student, and staff experiences

Role Focus:

* Translate complex business needs into actionable IT solutions

* Drive operational efficiency through process improvement and technology enablement

* Support IT governance, project intake, and solution planning

* Ensure initiatives align with strategy, priorities, and architecture standards

* Serve as a trusted advisor to academic and administrative leaders

Core Functions:

* Serve as primary liaison between IT and assigned business units

* Build strong, collaborative stakeholder relationships

* Conduct current-state process analysis and workflow documentation

* Identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities

* Recommend scalable technology and process solutions

* Develop business and functional requirements

* Create process flows, use cases, and supporting documentation

Execution & Governance:

* Guide stakeholders through IT governance and intake processes

* Support development of business cases (scope, benefits, cost, risk)

* Identify and prioritize automation and workflow optimization opportunities

* Design future-state processes to improve efficiency and service delivery

* Support application and system rationalization efforts

* Reduce technical debt and improve portfolio efficiency

Collaboration:

* Partner with PMO to transition approved initiatives into execution

* Work with ITSM and analytics teams to monitor performance and adoption

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's degree + 5 years of relevant experience, or High School diploma/GED + 9 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's degree

* Certifications (CBAP, Six Sigma, ITIL, or similar)

* Experience with IT governance and portfolio management

* Automation/RPA or workflow optimization experience

* Enterprise tools (Service Now, Power BI, PM platforms)

* Strong facilitation, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills

Additional Details:

* Class E driver's license required

* Possible travel to on- and off-campus locations

* Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

* Department:
Office of Instructional Resources

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
