Epic Application Analyst – Revenue / HIM
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site
Referral Bonus Eligible
Position SummaryResponsible for analyzing workflows and understanding policies, procedures, and constraints within Access and Revenue business areas including access, billing, claims, and HIM functions supported by the Epic application.
Performs detailed investigation and documentation of operational specifications and application functionality. Participates in application build, testing, and ongoing system support.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze business workflows to support strategic implementation goals
- Document operational requirements and system functionality
- Perform Epic application build, testing, and support
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Translate technical concepts for non-technical end users
- Support change management initiatives
- Conduct workflow analysis and recommend improvements
- Assist with training and staff development
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in an operational area impacted by Epic implementation
- 2+ years of Epic application build, testing, and support experience
- 1+ year of HIM coding experience
- Epic Resolute Hospital Billing & Claims Certification
- OR
- Epic HIM Certification
- Strong knowledge of revenue cycle and billing workflows
- Understanding of healthcare information systems
- Business process analysis and workflow design
- Change management principles
- Project management and analytical techniques
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Advanced computer proficiency
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly
- Office-based setting
- Mobility within standard office environment
- Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds
- Collaborative healthcare IT environment
