Data Analyst/Data Coordinator

Location: Orlando, Florida

Duration: 6 month

Schedule: Hybrid. 2 days onsite, 3 days remote ( first month 100% onsite )

Must be a GC Holder or USC

No relocation candidates

3-month contract with a high possibility of being hired on full time.

Provide Data Management & Integrity, Data Analysis & Reporting, Business Insights & Strategy along with Stakeholder Collaboration including, but not limited to:

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple systems and databases.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, metrics definitions, and methodologies.
• Work with IT and engineering teams to improve data quality and accessibility.
• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to address specific business challenges or opportunities.
• Fixing issues across our platforms/systems through our vendors (liaison).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against goals.
• Ensure NCCI reporting is done timely and collaborating with our vendor to fix any potential issues.
• Provide recommendations to improve business processes, optimize performance, and drive revenue growth.
• Analyze the impact of strategic initiatives and make data-driven recommendations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to identify data needs and deliver insights.
• Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Serve as a liaison between business units and data engineering teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a related role.
• Proven track record of turning data into actionable business insights.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with NCCI reporting, a plus
• Experience in the Insurance Industry (worker's comp a plus).
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts or advanced analytics techniques, strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), strongly preferred.

Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for driving as required to accomplish the job duties. The capability to ascend ladders and navigate obstacles commonly present at policyholders' work sites.
