The Alaka'ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Training Liaison Officer to provide operations, administrative, and program support for an existing government customer in Orlando, Florida
.

Description of Responsibilities
  • Provide Training Liaison Officer Support for PM TRASYS MCSC
  • Identify and address the Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements during system design, acquisition, fielding, sustainment and disposal.
  • Performing various analysis and drafting acquisition documentation to document findings and recommendations for cycle support of training systems/devices/support infrastructure.
  • Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), fielding and provisioning conferences and other meetings as required as the logistics subject matter expert.
  • Provide logistics support in accordance with the Defense Acquisition Guidebook, SECNAVINST 5000.2E, and MCO 5311.1D Total Force Structure Management Process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Degree/Education/Certifications

At least a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Required Skills and Experience
  • At least two to four (2-4) years of experience.
  • Familiarity of Government Acquisitions.
  • Familiarity of Training System Liaison Support
  • Experience with Global Combat Support System (GCSS) and/or Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) .
  • Experience with provisioning, assigning National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and birthing records.
  • Solid working knowledge of subject matter.
  • Ability to work under general supervision.
  • Ability to handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Ability to provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
  • Strong oral and written communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to organize and deliver logistics deliverables in concise straight forward English.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to travel at least 25% of the time.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Mathematical, analytical thinking, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with fielding plans, disposal plans, and Item Unique Identification (IUI) Plans.
Required Citizenship and Clearance
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Ability to pass a Tier I background investigation.
