Summary:
The Lead Software Engineer, Dev Ops is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines that meet development, security, and governance requirements. This role owns the architecture and design of the Dev Ops platform, drives adoption of Dev Ops best practices, and mentors junior engineers. The position also enables system reliability through infrastructure automation, monitoring, and observability across server, application, and network environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dev Ops Engineer will design and build scalable, highly available infrastructure to support CI/CD pipelines with consistent configuration across environments
- Lead initiatives that drive organizational transformation toward Dev Ops culture and best practices
- Architect and maintain CI/CD tooling and onboarding processes
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to engineering team members
- Support and troubleshoot complex technical issues across applications and infrastructure
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
- As a Dev Ops Engineer, you will evaluate new technologies and present objective recommendations to senior leadership
- Collaborate with leadership, architects, and delivery teams to align Dev Ops solutions with business needs
- Perform other duties as assigned

Key Responsibilities:
- Dev Ops Engineer will design and build scalable, highly available infrastructure to support CI/CD pipelines with consistent configuration across environments

- Architect and maintain CI/CD tooling and onboarding processes
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to engineering team members

- As a Dev Ops Engineer, you will evaluate new technologies and present objective recommendations to senior leadership
- Collaborate with leadership, architects, and delivery teams to align Dev Ops solutions with business needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering or IT, with deep expertise in Dev Ops principles
- Extensive experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Ansible, Python, and Power Shell
- Advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills using logging and monitoring tools
- Experience integrating Dev Ops platforms with enterprise systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring capabilities
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git Hub, Git Lab, Jenkins
- Familiarity with Service Now, Elastic APM, Prometheus, Grafana, Solar Winds, and SQL
- Linux administration experience;
Windows IIS experience a plus - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies;
Agile or Scrum certifications preferred - Passion for continuous improvement, process optimization, and operational excellence
