Optomi, in partnership with a leading media and entertainment organization, is seeking a Senior Active Directory Engineer (P4) to support a large‑scale Active Directory modernization and standardization initiative.

$70.00/hr – $85.00/hr

Experience of the Right Candidate:

• 5+ years of hands‑on Active Directory engineering experience in large enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting multi‑domain AD environments with 100+ domain controllers and 500K+ users.
• Strong experience with hybrid identity solutions, including AD, ADFS, Microsoft Identity Manager.
• Experience engineering both infrastructure and logical AD components (domain controllers, sites, replication, GPOs, directory structure).
• Experience in highly connected hybrid LDAP environments with 40,000+ users.
• Strong '', troubleshooting experience with AD, DNS, and PKI‑related issues. certains
• Experience working with vendors and suppliers in outsourced infrastructure environments.
• Certifications and degrees preferred but not required.

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:

• Support Active Directory modernization initiatives and cloud‑first identity transformation.
• Maintain and manage on‑Ứ Active Directory domain controllers and services.
• Provide operational support, incident response, and reporting (e.g., Power BI).
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers on solution implementation.
• Contribute to process and system configuration (not responsible for leading design).
• Identify opportunities for automation to improve lifecycle management and user experience.
• Document configurations, procedures, and operational best practices.
• Follow structured methodologies for technical analysis and solution delivery.

• Assess existing domain controllers and identify consolidation opportunities.
• Perform domain controller upgrades, decommissioning, and migrations.
• Ensure replication integrity and overall domain health during transitions.

• Identify and remove stale objects, orphaned accounts, and unused policies.
• Optimize AD replication, site topology, and GPO structure.
• Implement best practices for AD security, auditing, and hardening.

• Diagnose and resolve AD, DNS, and PKI‑related issues.
• Partner with security and  to remediate vulnerabilities.
