The opportunityAs our Technology Risk practice continues to expand, we are seeking a highly motivated Manager, focused on cybersecurity risk and controls and technology enablement, to manage client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services, and manage business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Provide technical and project leadership to team members, build relationships with clients, deliver quality client services, and enable high‑performing teams.
- Foster an innovative and inclusive team‑oriented work environment, counsel and mentor junior consultants.
- Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry trends to identify engagement and client service issues and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management.
- Foster relationships with client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems to develop and improve security at procedural and technology levels.
- Assist with cultivating and managing business development opportunities, understand EY services and present ways to serve clients.
- Demonstrate deep technical capabilities, professional knowledge, and ability to assimilate new knowledge quickly.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, ensure stakeholders are kept informed, and drive high‑value work products within expected time frames and budgets.
You will leverage your proven track record of technologies and cybersecurity experience and strong project management skills, to effectively lead and motivate client engagement teams and provide technical leadership in the assessment, design, and implementation of controls, security and cybersecurity risk solutions.
To qualify for the role- A bachelor’s or master’s degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity risk management, core cybersecurity fundamentals, internal controls.
- Experience assessing cybersecurity risk management programmes.
- Familiarity with NIST CSF 2.0, NIST 800‑53, ISO 27001, SANS CSC or similar frameworks.
- Industry‑related certification required (e.g., CISSP, CISA). Non‑certified hires must become certified within 1 year.
- Advanced project‑management, client‑service skills, excellent leadership, and teaming skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% and internationally; valid driver’s licence and passport required.
- Access to reliable transportation to/from EY office and client sites.
- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package including a base salary range of $111,600 to $204,700 (US), with higher ranges in major metros.
