Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Senior Project Manager Consultant (AI Specialization) for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Sport Entertainment offices in Orlando, FL.

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager Consultant
AI Specialization to lead critical Artificial Intelligence initiatives. In this role, you will guide cross‑functional teams through the full AI lifecycle, combining rigorous Agile/Scrum methodologies with the strategic oversight required for complex data science projects. You will act as a primary driver for project success, ensuring alignment between technical execution and stakeholder expectations.

• AI Project Leadership & Scrum Mastery Run Scrum Teams:
  Lead daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, guiding the team toward successful project completion. Must have several years of experience running scrum teams and be able to adapt methodologies to the probabilistic nature of AI development.
• Tooling Expertise Oversee and control software tools, specifically acting as a fluent administrator of Jira and Confluence to maintain project schedules, documentation, and reporting.
• Risk Management Identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks—including specific AI risks such as data bias or model drift—and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Timeline Management Establish, monitor, and control project schedules and tasks to ensure milestones are met and projects are completed within agreed‑upon time frames.
• Scope & Quality Assurance Define and validate the work required to successfully complete projects, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
• Problem Solving Identify, analyze, track, and resolve problems or concerns that arise during the project lifecycle, utilizing analytical thinking to minimize impact on the project’s success.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication Effectively convey information, ideas, and expectations to various stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely updates regarding AI model performance and project status.
• Influence & Negotiation Persuade and guide stakeholders to support project success and use negotiation strategies to reach mutually beneficial agreements on scope and priorities.
• Conflict Resolution Effectively address and manage disagreements or misunderstandings within the team or among stakeholders.
• Team Leadership Foster a cohesive, motivated, and high‑performing team, creating an environment where members feel empowered and aligned toward a common goal during the engagement.

• Experience 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a mandatory background in running Scrum teams.
• Technical Proficiency Fluent in Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
• AI Specialization Proven experience managing AI/ML projects with specific exposure to technologies such as LLMs, Computer Vision, or NLP; an AI Project Management certification is highly preferred.
• Project Handling Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects with multiple deliverables.
• Sector Knowledge Possess a deep understanding of the AI/Tech sector and how specific industry dynamics influence project outcomes.
• Cultural Awareness Conscious and respectful of diverse cultural backgrounds, values, and beliefs, understanding how they influence team dynamics.
