Job Summary

SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Cloud Solutions Specialist you will implement solutions for customers based on best practices utilizing internally developed software and cloud components.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers to gather and understand their technical and business requirements for cloud‑based solutions.
  • Implement AWS‑based solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of customers, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Implement and deploy cloud solutions on AWS using various services including EC2, S3, App Stream, and VPC.
  • Configure and manage Windows environments, MS SQL Server databases, and IIS web servers to support the deployment of software applications.
  • Collaborate with internal development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with AWS services and other technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including developers, architects, project managers, and support teams to ensure successful implementation and deployment.
  • Provide project management expertise and technical support to customers throughout the implementation process.
  • Create documentation for client workflows throughout the implementation process, including configuration details, task‑dependent workflows, and relevant technical information for internal and customer reference.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in cloud computing, AWS services, security platforms, processes, and cloud‑based services.
Required Experience
  • Proven experience implementing and deploying AWS‑based solutions for customers, with a strong understanding of AWS services like EC2.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Windows environments, MS SQL Server databases, and IIS web servers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with customers and cross‑functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality solutions that meet customer needs.
Preferred Experience , Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and programming languages is beneficial.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues in complex cloud environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) is a strong plus.
Travel & Working Environment
  • Hybrid work schedule near Universal Studios, Orlando.
