Network Field Engineer

This is a hands‑on, field‑based Network Engineer role supporting client deployments for Software–powered environments across multi‑site customer locations.

The engineer will be based out of Orlando and will travel extensively (approximately 80%) across the East Coast and occasionally nationwide, working directly at customer locations to install, configure, and troubleshoot Wi‑Fi and network infrastructure.

• Travel to client locations across the East Coast (and occasionally nationwide).
• Install, configure, and validate Wi‑Fi / WLAN infrastructure used by Eleven Software clients.
• Perform on‑site implementation of:
  • Access Points (APs)
  • Switches
  • Guest Wi‑Fi / captive portal configurations
• Work with technologies such as:
• Coordinate with internal teams and senior engineers during deployments.
• Stay near client sites during active installation phases (hotel/accommodation provided).
• After completing one deployment (ranging from days to a few weeks), move to the next site.
• Perform on‑site troubleshooting, testing, and handover to operations/support teams.
• Maintain basic documentation and deployment checklists.

• Initial knowledge transfer and training period (~2 weeks) with senior engineers.
• Shadowing and guided deployments before independently handling sites.
• Exposure to Eleven Software–specific network requirements and best practices.

• Network / Field Engineer with strong Wi‑Fi & WLAN experience.
• Comfortable with frequent travel and on‑site work.
• Experience in installations, deployments, or field engineering (not purely NOC or desk‑based).
• Hands‑on experience with access points, switches, gateways, and guest Wi‑Fi.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites after initial guidance.
• Background in hospitality, venues, MSPs, ISPs, or multi‑location deployments is a strong plus.
• This is not a remote‑only role.
• Requires regular travel (~80%) with temporary stays near client locations.
• All travel, lodging, and related expenses are fully covered.
• Very hands‑on and field‑focused role.
• Best suited for engineers who enjoy deployments, site work, and moving between projects.
