We are seeking an experienced, strategic Social Media Director to lead our social media department and strengthen our clients’ brand presence across all platforms. This highly-strategic role will oversee a team and be responsible for developing and executing data-driven social media strategies, guiding creative and design direction, and serving as the primary point of contact in client-facing communications.

• Lead, mentor, and provide hands‑on guidance to two social media managers, including professional feedback, strategic direction, and direct contribution to content and visual creation.
• Build and own social media strategy across key channels (Meta, Tik Tok, Linked In, X, You Tube, etc.).
• Develop and execute content frameworks, creative concepts, and hands‑on content/visual creation, and campaign roadmaps based on business and client goals.
• Present strategies, performance reports, and campaign ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure consistent brand storytelling and messaging across platforms.
• Analyze performance metrics, identify insights, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver high-impact social work.
• Stay ahead of social trends, emerging tools, platform updates, and best practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in social media management within an agency or global brand.
• Proven experience building and executing social strategies end-to-end – from audit, to execution.
• Experience using AI tools
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills — client-facing experience required.
• Deep understanding of platform algorithms, content formats, and performance metrics.
• Creative thinker with analytical skills and a hands‑on approach.
• Strong eye for design and visual storytelling, with the ability to produce high-quality, on-brand creative assets.

• Experience working with global markets.
• Background in performance-driven environments.
• Familiarity with AI tools for content creation and social optimization.
• Ability to develop and execute Reddit-specific content and engagement strategies.
