About the Role
We are growing our team of enthusiastic experts and are recruiting a Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in Orlando, Florida.
We’re looking for a creative technologist with business acumen who enjoys playing with pixels, doing demos, and creating customer solutions using bleeding edge video technology. This role blends technical sales expertise with client-facing responsibilities, system design, sales engineering, and hands‑on product demonstrations. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with a passion for visual technology and the ability to deliver high‑impact solutions in fast‑paced environments.
Hands‑on experience with LED displays, projection mapping, media servers, Unreal Engine, Touch Designer, show control systems, and audio systems for live events or permanent installations is a plus.
- Solution Sales Engineering:
Design, specify, and price 7thSense product configurations ensuring optimal performance and alignment with project requirements and client needs. - Technical Consulting:
Serve as a technical specialist during discovery meetings, site visits, and presentations, translating client requirements into actionable solutions. - Proactive Client Engagement:
Collaborate with creative teams and technical stakeholders to align storytelling goals with technical feasibility. - Sales & Account Management:
Generate price quotes, proposals, and BOMs (Bill of Materials) based on incoming requirements, project discovery, and engineered solutions. Track and follow up on opportunities. - Video System Expertise:
Configure, test, and support media servers, pixel processors, show control, and related hardware/software for customer demonstrations and solution verification. - System Design & Documentation:
Create technical system drawings, signal flow diagrams, and technical documentation in collaboration with engineering and development teams to support client proposals. - AV Industry Expertise:
Attend and represent 7thSense at industry trade shows and events (e.g., IAAPA, Info Comm, TEA, etc). Our products support world‑class projects at major theme parks, museums, immersive experiences, branded environments, and experiential retail establishments around the globe.
- Candidates must demonstrate experience of working in the following areas:
- Solid grasp of Microsoft Windows and PC hardware.
- Solid understanding of audio‑visual and control systems flow, media production workflows, digital media formats, video signal formats, projection mapping, LED, and networking fundamentals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English, other languages helpful but not required).
- A penchant for technical problem‑solving.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented with discipline to follow up.
- Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally (travel expectation between 20% and 30% of time).
- Valid passport & driving license.
- Applicants without direct sales experience are welcome, provided they have a background in technical support, consulting, or pre‑sales roles involving customer interaction. Candidates must also demonstrate a clear willingness and aptitude to engage with the sales function.
- Experience supporting high‑profile events, installations, AV systems commissioning or interactive displays.
- Experience with 7thSense products (Delta Media Server, Medialon, Compere, Juggler) or hands‑on experience with at least one professional media server platform.
- Basic familiarity with creative tools and platforms such as Blender, Cinema4D, Maya, Unity, Unreal Engine or Touch Designer.
- Sales support experience including quote creation, margin analysis, forecasting, and proposal writing.
