Human Resources Generalist (Ambulatory)

Downtown Orlando, Ambulatory Care | Fully onsite, M-F
Provides comprehensive Human Resources support to team members and leaders across the site. This role serves as a trusted advisor, guiding team members through HR processes, supporting engagement and retention initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The HR Generalist plays a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture and delivering exceptional HR service.
Additional DetailsThis HR Generalist role will play a key part in supporting our HR and Employee Relations teams by helping triage HR-related issues and inquiries. During the first 30–90 days, the focus will be on getting to know the business, building relationships within the Ambulatory and Medical Group, and understanding the needs of the leaders you’ll support.
Responsibilities- Running reports in Power
BI (e.g., birthdays, anniversaries, upcoming license expirations) and sharing them with clinical leaders - Participating in exit interviews
- Assisting with site orientations and general HR support
- Serve as liaison for the team member lifecycle, including performance management, recognition, recruitment, benefits, learning and development, and employee relations.
- Support onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Partner with site leadership to develop HR strategies that drive engagement, retention, and business results.
- Deliver training programs and support engagement events, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
- Interpret and explain HR policies, procedures, and employment laws to leaders and team members.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and assist with dispute resolution requests.
- Utilize people analytics, KPIs, and dashboards to identify and address workforce opportunities.
- High School diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred (or 4 years of HR experience in lieu of degree). - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources or related field.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
