Job Summary

This Special Events intern will go behind the scenes to help Universal’s Food & Beverage team deliver world class Special Events like Halloween Horror Nights, Mardi Gras, and more.

Major Responsibilities
  • Create global content, documentation, verbal and written communication including but not limited to executive presentations.
  • Participate in field work and hands‑on training.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • A transcript is required upon application.
  • Preferred majors include:
    Hospitality Management, Food Services, Hospitality/Tourism.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs required.
  • Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to:
    Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem‑solving abilities and organization.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Superior written & verbal communication skills.
  • Work in a fast‑paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
  • Consistent attendance.
Additional Information
  • This internship will be an in‑person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.
  • Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
  • All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
