The Event Operations Intern will support the planning and execution of a variety of events around Universal Orlando Resort. The experience will provide an opportunity to gain knowledge of the event life cycle (ideation to day‑of execution, working with partners, and post‑event recaps). This role will provide exposure to various leaders and hourly team members to gain knowledge of different aspects of the hospitality/theme‑park industry.

Intern will learn the importance of cross‑departmental relationships, time management, and problem‑solving.

• Supports operational planning efforts for different range of events that include but are not limited to internal, revenue, marquee, youth, and production.
• Assists with completing event logistics, tracking department trends and data, and handling post‑event recaps.
• Assists with daily administrative responsibilities and complete tasks required during the event planning phases like Team Member follow up, compile information from a prospectus, and create reports to provide to leadership.
• Participates in management shadows, partner shadows, and project‑based work.
• Collaborates between multiple departments and builds networking skills across the resort.
• Supports updates to the Playbook site, reviews documents, updates Standard Operating Procedures and creates standardization documents for area of focus when needed.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
• Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
• A transcript is required upon application.

• Preferred majors include:
  Event Management, Hospitality Management, or similar.

• This internship will be an in‑person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
• Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than December 2026.
• Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
• All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
