When you work in Hawaii, in addition to learning about the functional aspects of running a hotel — like the proper way to make a bed or how to best handle luggage — it’s critically important to understand Hawaiian culture and the spirit of ‘ohana, or ‘family.’ When opening the first Andaz property in Hawaii, our team participated in Hawaiian culture training to help us understand what ‘ohana truly means.

As a Valet Parker, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their experience with warm hospitality and efficient service. Your primary responsibility will be to safely and promptly relocate guest vehicles to designated parking areas while assisting with loading and unloading as needed. This role requires strong communication skills, coordination with the hotel guest services team, and awareness of daily events to ensure seamless operations.

• Greet and welcome guests with a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage or personal items as needed.
• Safely drive and park guest vehicles in designated areas, ensuring efficiency and care.
• Retrieve vehicles in a timely manner upon guest request.
• Maintain clear communication with hotel guest services to coordinate arrivals and departures.
• Provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and traffic regulations while operating vehicles.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles confidently.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Open availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
